System liquidity declined by 20% following the settlement of yesterdayโs NTB primary market auction. Consequently, the overnight rate inched up by 2bps to 22.20%, while the OPR held steady at 22.00%.
System liquidity improved by 7.63% to โฆ4.61 trillion from โฆ4.28 trillion, supported by the complete decline in Standing Lending Facility (SLF) usage relative to the previous session. Consequently, the overnight rate eased by 2bps to 22.18%, while the Open Repo Rate (OPR) remained unchanged at 22.00%.
โฆ2.49 trillion in OMO maturities provided liquidity support, but an unscheduled โฆ2.88 trillion OMO mop-up more than offset the inflow, dragging system liquidity to โฆ4.29 trillion from a potential โฆ7.17 trillion. Consequently, the Overnight Rate rose to 22.20%, while the Open Repo Rate held at 22.00%.
System liquidity opened the week 28.7% higher at โฆ4.65tn, up from โฆ3.61tn, driven by a 29% increase in placements at the SDF window. Consequently, the overnight rate eased by 8bps to 22.13%, while the OPR remained unchanged at 22.00%.
